Well well well. It would seem that The Blog That Shall Not Be Named (please don't sue me, JK GROWLING) has posted about a new band - WHITE LINES. From what I remember, they're named after a famous RAP song by GRANDMASTER FLASH. If only The White Noise could live up to the song from which they draw their inspiration.
Note that I haven't actually LISTENED to the band at this point though. But on to more serious matters: why do I disagree with
AFOR? The Infidel?
Well. I should really
dislike White Lies. Unreasonably unpopular, absolutely nothing original at all, songs that would
n’t sound out of place in a stadium setting. I find them rather
hard easy to hate for two reasons. First of all is that derivative or not, the songs are pretty
good awful. Secondly, they put on a hell of a terrible live show.
This will
never be a band I’ll fall in love with. But songs like Death are still mighty
fine awful songs.
John has SPOKEN.
